Looking for BO with Cannon Rapid Fire III

I am trying to find a BOFF with this skill. It's a blue skill, so I looked through all the blue tactical officers on the exchange. I only know how to search by "Tactical officer", so I only got 1-400, and none of them had the skill.

Is there another way to search for that particular skill?
I can't give this character to one of my fleet mates because it's my Borg tactical officer, and for some reason you can't trade him. So looks like my only choice is to buy a tactical officer and have him train my borg.

I have looked through the fleet embassy, where we can buy bridge officers, and there are no officers there with the skill, either..

I would love any other suggestions. Thanks.

    I am 90% sure this is a captain trained skill only. Talk to a tactical captain with 6 points into energy weapon specialization to get it trained

    It's *only* trained by Tactical Captains (so you can raise your percentage to 100! :D). So, as was mentioned, find a tactical captain friend to train your BOFF for you (using the byzantine method of having other people train your BOFFs).

    Any Tactical captain with six or more ranks in the Starship Energy Weapons skill can train Bridge Officers in both Cannon: Rapid Fire III, and Beam Array: Fire at Will III. Just ask around in general chat at a spacedock, plenty of people will have the skill to teach it.

    Ok. so looks like my best chance is to buy a new tac officer and send him to someone to have him trained. thanks!

    Or trade an existing one to someone to train and trade back.

    Wait a minute... how do you do that?

    My Captain can't train anyone but members of his own Bridge Crew. How can I train another Captain's Bridge Officer? If they sent it to me and I had them join... the only options I see is Promote, Dismiss or Train.

    1. Strip a boff of gear that is commissioned to your crew
    2. Open a trade with a player capable of training the ability you want.
    3. Drag the stripped boff to the trade window from the bridge crew
    4. Player doing the training does his thing
    5. Player that trained the boff trades the boff back.

    Issues occur with unique boffs and rom training/trading with kdf/fed

    God, that is an annoyance! Just another thing Cryptic will probably never fix.
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.
