New Power for Mook = reverse copypasta?

We all know that the devs here at Cryptic LOVE the copypasta - that is, simply copying one system/asset and making minor changes and saying "New!!!!!"

Well, this would be the first time I see one where a copypasta brings a change BACK to the original.

SO - the Yetti in Gingerbread Colony Invasion or whatever is called can throw rocks.

Now Mook (the big Mugato in Colony Invasion) can throw rocks. From the combat log:

Mook's an unknown ability gives 13 (28) to your Shields.
Mook deals 34 (119) Physical Damage to you with an unknown ability.

Yeah - it was kinda weird seeing his animation of tossing a rock at me a la Gorn NPCs.


Anyhow, interesting to see that. It's no biggie - they can leave it in Colony Invasion as it is AR from a game changer.

I would make a Gorn character immediately and play the heck out of him if they'd let me take a rock-throwing captain trait. Yes, it's silly to imagine doing that on space stations and stuff, but no sillier than calling indoor orbital strikes.
