TWOK away team coat

So I discovered that STO has a reddit, and on that reddit is a thread about how the away team coats from Wrath of Khan are actually buried somewhere in the files of the game, and seem to have been for about two years now.

So, here's my question. How much to I need to pay Cryptic for them to unlock this costume and let people wear it? I'll start a collection.

I'd take them, I personally want the Officer's Bomber Jacket, though...

Why would they abandon the release plan after so much work? That sounds like hateful spite or legal problems to me.
