Around the time the new ui launched. It is likely we will have to wait which sucks. I took little time at all for them to remove the next and costume import buttons.
A TIME TO SEARCH: ENTER MY FOUNDRY MISSION at the RISA SYSTEM Parallels: my second mission for Fed aligned Romulans.
I thought I'd post some comparisons and observations as points to further show how badly needed this interface upgrade is. (Both to the Dev Team and for fellow players)
My new Spotlight mission 'Divide ut Regnes' in the first months it was published as a candidate in Foundry Challenge #8 had a total of 115 plays/reviews - which included the time it was announced as the winner (getting official Cryptic publicity). This, of course, did not include any play info during the time feedback was disabled following Season 8. Additionally, I had folks kind enough to tip for just a little over 4000 Dilithium in that same period.
Compare that with 'being on the list':
In just 24 hours since being put up, it's had an additional 400 plays and an addtional 10,000 in Dilithium tips.
In just 24 Hours.
I have had about a dozen comments along the lines of, "Make more please!", "I hope you do more missions", "If you make more missions please list them!" And yet, my other mission(s) have had ZERO additional plays (in over a week) - which indicates to me that no one knows the 'search' menu even exists or that there are more missions available than what's shown on the list.
I think this just underscores how 'broken' the current interface is. If a mission can't be seen, it won't be played. Period. Even with good publicity, unless it's 'on the list', it won't see much play (I think it was Kirkfat that said he could get Shatner himself to endose a mission and still folks wouldn't play it as much as those that are 'on the list' - and I think it's absolutely true).
The sad thing here for me is that I know for a fact there are better missions out there - - I have played them! And yet they remain hidden behind the current '10 click' search interface and crippling 'weighting' system.
So please talented Cryptic folks, don't let this wonderful resource for the game die. It's good for players and good for the company (free content!). Open up access so all missions get a fair chance at getting played - there are a lot of real gems out there just waiting to be freed from the current interface.
At the end of a mission it should also automatically display a list of other missions you've made, and ideally also a list of other missions you've rated highly.
But, yeah, being on the list is the most important aspect to getting your missions played, and the higher the better. Since a lot of the highest rated missions are now just grinds, that's what people will end up playing.

That's something NWO already have. I'm not 100% sure, as I didn't play a lot (didn't like the game), but I remember the foundry UI had a way to "bookmark" an author, and even some suggestion on what the author did, and you may like.
I think this is part of what we will have when they add the NWO goodies.
NW definately had a "Subscribe" feature where it lets you know when an author posts or updates a mission. This was meant to come with S8 for us but for some reason didn't. I guess it will be coming soon?

I think both a 'subscribe' feature and the 'series' feature mentioned above (organizing multi-part series episodes together) would be a great addition too!
This isn't something that could be done in someones spare time. It would need to be an actual scheduled feature. In fairness though, if that did take this on, it would be apart of a larger misson journal overhaul. In the entire mission journal is in need of an overhaul, not just the foundry tab. (Does any one even bother to look at the Available tab?)
The plus side to this is that if they do opt to redesign the mission journal, it's an opportunity for the team to look at Foundry mission integration with the whole game.
I have used the Avalible tab on occasion to check the cooldown status of the daily mining missions, but aside from that not much use
These are the Voyages on the STO forum, the final frontier. Our continuing mission: to explore Pretentious Posts, to seek out new Overreactions and Misinformation , to boldly experience Cynicism like no man has before.......
