Stupid question...trade channel?

Does anyone know if there is a trade channel for trading items? Don't really want to spam chat and the exchange can be annoying to deal with sometimes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    I'm not sure but whatever you do, DO NOT join a channel called "trade" in STO. I did this and I could not remove myself from this channel (you thought esd zone chatting about politics was bad HA!). Cryptic REFUSES to fix this bug and the only workaround is to download Champions Online and remove yourself from the channel there. WOW!

    The same thing happened to me. I've now got Champions Online Trade channel spamming my chat window 24/7 and there is no way I can remove it or turn it off. Reported to GM and they very curtly told me the " we likely know about the bug but there is no known due date for it's fix" which basically means "TRIBBLE you customer".

    Thanks for the heads up. Would be nice if they put a trade section here on the forums. Yes, I know, but I like to dream the impossible dream. Thanks again.

    The STO trade channel is:

    thetradingchannel

    It does require an invite to get into the channel, there is a large number of players who buy and sell in there.
