Best hangar pet for a vesta

I've got an aux build vesta, and im currently using pretty awful hangar pets. I've got access and capability to buy any of the ones currently out so curious as to what everyone thinks is the current 'high tier' is.

I play an extremely offensive style(not to healing heavy).

    Pure offense hangar would be Elite Scorpions from the Rom Reputation.

    Elite Delta Flyers can be pretty handy against the Voth though, having more HP they survive a bit better, and the shield drain/penetration abilities are handy against Voth.

    I've parsed several pets so far.

    Against Borg, Elite scorpions rules dps (average 2500-3000dps per hangar bay in ISE, when using full Carrier the combined effort of 2 elite scorp bays can sometimes even out dps some players).

    Against players/voth the Yellowstones are very helpful and die less often.

    Haven't tried Delta Flyer yet but the upcoming Elite Swarmers are really interesting (I've enjoyed using the advanced Swarmers on the obelisk)

    Never use Elite peregrines if you have access to Elite scorpions, they are inferior by 1k dps and their rapid fire don't really contribute much. Elite widows as well, but they work well as interceptors.

    A note, if you're looking at the Info screen of them, there is a typographical error saying they have Attack Pattern Beta, but they don't. The typo will be fixed next patch to Holodeck most likely, and has already been fixed on Tribble server. Still, they should be nice in STFs, but I find the Advanced on the Obelisk to be very fragile against the AoE using Voth.

    it's to bad cryptic locked the voth heavy fighter to the bastion. I could see elites working very well on the vesta. If you have the fc and dil i would go for yellowstone fighters, they have good cc and will last longer in a fight with the voth/borg. Elite scorpions are great at dps but its a bit hard to keep them alive.

    I run the Vesta as a light cruiser instead of as a Sci ship. I think of the fighters on my Vesta as an adjunct to my combat power, not a replacement. I've used the Delta Flyers and a had a great deal of satisfaction from doing so. The Scorpions and Widows and all the rest are simply too expensive. If I was running a full carrier which was configured to support an attack by a two full wings, they might be worth it.

    You can't really go wrong with deltas - I've been using them on my Vesta builds for some time now and they're solid all-rounders.

    Grav Well + Elite Scorpions go well together, for most PVE its a nice combo. I'd go DPS unless you have a particular function in mind. For PVP I'd probably want the best runabouts I could get.

    Scorps are expensive but its a one off to get your pricey Vesta functioning at its best.
