I'm sure this is old news. I'm gonna put this up in hopes everyone can avoid it. Or satisfy the daredevil in themselves... I'd hate for other people to fall into it and panic because they forgot that they can beam up back to their ship...
*sings* "I like Gammera! He's so neat!!! He is full of turtle meat!!!"
"Hah! You are doomed! You're only armed with that pathetic excuse for a musical instrument!!!" *the Savage Beast moments before Lonnehart the Bard used music to soothe him... then beat him to death with his Fat Lute*

That last one looks eerily similar to the Kashyyyk bug on the Rryatt trail in SWG. You would fall off the treetops and into some dark landscape with massive trees over your head.

You may not have to beam up. if you can change instance. There's a hole in First City whcih has apparently been there a while. Changing instance brings you back without needing to beam completely out.

This is going to be like the Romulan engineering room all over again isn't it? There's a hole so....
Don't go into the hole.
Stay away from the hole....
Everybody stay back from the hole.......
They went into the hole didn't they?
Well given that you found it and you posted it here, more people are naturally going to act like lemmings and jump into the hole, so I expect they might actually look at it since it is one of their vaunted high population grind zones, oh excuse me, level 50 player ground combat encounter zones.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
I posted a thread with pics from my first adventure in the hole. I've since fallen into, but have not found, several others. I think they differ from one instance to the next. Anyway I got tired of hunting them down. I have more pics somewhere. I might post them...probably not.
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

That sounds like it might hurt! What kind of frog is that?

The flattened kind, if there's a Ferengi ship on it.
My character Tsin'xing
I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in
That keeps my mind from wandering
Where it will go-oh-oh-oh
I'm filling the cracks that ran through the door
And kept my mind from wandering
Where it will go
And it really doesn't matter if I'm wrong
I'm right
Where I belong, I'm right
Where I belong
Seeing the people standing there who disagree and
never win
And wonder why they don't get in my door
I'm painting my room in the colourful way
And when my mind is wandering
There I will go
(etc. -- that's most of it)
