auto graphics cpu setting problem

Hello. i have graphic problems. i am running nvidia gforce and windows 8.
When i set it on auto(or direct 3d 11 or whatever) i no longer have graphics problem so it is ok.
However, when i try to minimze the game to the taskbar with ctrl+esc, the screen goes to game default brightness (100% , i run with 159%) and starts running slowly. cant minimize it unless i minimize it with the mouse. And when i go back in the game , it only shows half of the screen. i have to make it back with alt +enter.
This is hell annoying. anyone experiencing this?
Also, i am running another setting with post proccessing on which seems ok. but however, i have some lag with it. hope it gets fixed soon
