I recently decided to roll a science character for the first time, and go full out drain/strip!
Here is the build i was planning to use for endgame, However i don't really know much about science (I mostly play engineering) so i am unsure how useful this would be in a STF team.

(I'm aware this isn't regarded as the best ship in the game, but the only other science ships i own are the Vesta line, and i'm already using them on 2 other characters...)
I have specced fully into Flow Caps, and into Projectile Weapons.
Also, in an attempt to justify my rather unusal weapon layout :
I am running full power to aux, so i figured multiple energy weapons was pointless... I chose Transphasic torpedoes as they are quite effective as "First strike" weapons i found leveling up. This was my general tactic against NPC's
1.) Open up with a salvo of Transphasic torpedoes
2.) Tachyon Beam!
3.) Deposit a lovely tricobalt mine as it fly close to make a second pass (Firing qtorps from the rear if their shields are low enough)
Anyway, I'm just playing around with stuff and i'm wondering how viable this is. Could some of you provide suggestions/tips?
Thanks!

BOff wise, I'd go with Tyken's Rift 2 instead of Tachyon Beam 3 for more Exotic Damage and power drain.
For Borg STFs, there isn't much need for shield stripping, and if you mean PvE in general, not many benefit from shield stripping. The Voth in particular could use shield stripping, but I'm not sure that even with as much flow caps as you have, that it will be enough to cut through a facing between the invulnerable fazes on the Citadel Dreadnoughts. Power drain is handy, though, lower shield power means their shields are less resistant to damage, which in turn means more bleedthrough to the hull, which is how most of the bigger Voth stuff is killed.
