ok i've done the ground zone and you get a cookie.
its fun (for now) and the time flies by suitably well enough
but i have a question
is zone chat in the new ground zones sub divided instance ?
because if not (and it certainly seems not) i think you should perhaps think about letting a creative system coder lose on the chat channels and making a system that creates a new chat channel for each instance and places everyone in that instance automatically in that chat channel so that when people speak we know they are in "our" zone...so they can (attempt to) react and coordinate...because from what ive seen there's so much cross instance zone "static" flying around chat is actually pretty useless and everything is kinda "on the hoof" outside of pre made teams and happenstance.
note i'm saying a sub per instance channel
as well as normal "across all" zone chat...you'd be able to switch between "zone" and "instance" chat channels ofc...
and it should be pretty simple..it is just coding in something you can do manually with console commands atm...
the functionality im suggesting would basically have the effect of giving everyone in your particular instance a different text color in chat...and by default only people in that instance would see them in chat...unless the opted to type in "Zone" ofc
people would soon figure it out
and it would be much more user friendly...
