On the STO Wikipedia it says that the leech is affected by flow capacitors, but it doesn't say how or by how much. I'd like to know the answer to this.
I put 6 in Flow Capacitor on the skill tree but didn't notice much of a difference. But then again, I hear the leech along with other things is bugged at the moment.
Every 10 points in Flow Cap gives +0,1 in energy drain/bonus from Leech.
This is further extended by flow capacitor consoles for science. plus also science also gains bonus towards this effect. the main thing is if you use maco shields it and plasmotic leech and it wont stack just giving this as a early heads up if you head that route good luck
Plasmonic leech is currently bugged. Most NPC's use YOUR leeech against you and it drains your power and gives it to them. This is really annoying with cubes...

If you haven't got it yet buy one, about 10 mil in the exchange. Get your flow capacitors up to 106 to get the x2.1 buff on the 8 stack able leech drains. I put my ship in "balanced" power levels and they all max to 100+ once I start shooting! It's the best console I've ever got.
Install the leach be skilld at 9 points in flow caps go to something like happy farmer and record your power levels then start shooting
record power levels
Add a flow console repeat the test
Add another until your power level caps
now you know
Jellico....Engineer ground.....Da'val Romulan space Sci
Saphire.. Science ground......Ko'el Romulan space Tac
Leva........Tactical ground.....Koj Romulan space Eng

Getting to 100 power levels with this approach requires other skills/consoles in order to have all your power levels to at least 83-84 when in balanced mode.
The leech drain = (Flow Caps * 0.01) + 1 of per proc drain.
Yes, I realize I can write the equation in more of a Cryptic sense, but really, it's the same thing with the numbers moved around.
From that page: Plasmonic leech stacks up to 8 times, granting 20 power to all systems if the captain trains Flow Capacitors to 99
The correct drain is 16. The guy probably had closer to 150 in flow caps or had other stuff going on. I've said it before, that wiki is useful to an extent. You can see my formula works with the numbers in the table.
I ran a mission replay last night just to grab the Lobi... "Frozen" I think it was, since I can bust it out in about 9 minutes... I didn't notice it debufing me, but then again, I prolly wouldn't recognize how to tell. Where would I look to see?
Thanks!

Will Plasmonic Leech power ability interfere with the KHG's power ability? I recall reading something like that.
The KHG shield has no problems with the Plasmonic Leech. The MACO (Adapted KHG) shield, however, does interfere with the Leech.
Use the MACO/AKHG shield when you can't bear to give up a console slot, you get shot at a lot, and your Flow Capacitors are low. Otherwise, use the Leech.

Thanks for your quick answer, will be coocking up my shield soon!

Ok, now it has more numbers in the table and info, enjoy.
I would love to know who was the genius who created this garbage page:

when the other page is so much more helpful.
Thanks!

It seems the patch didn't handle all the bugs. There are still people reporting leech self debuffing.
Thanks!
