New area, new lag hopefully resolved but if not maybe improve the playing experience. When I went to the new battlezone before todays patch hopefully them reduce the amount of graphics the gameclient has to process, however if not once your logged in; press esc go too options, video tab you'll see a bar measuring between speed and quality reduce the from recommended to low, also may want to switch graphics card to auto, however check what card and directX version you have before you do.
Be advised these are suggestions they may not work for you, or may have been fixed, unlikely. When you do as suggested, you'll see the screen get darker, although it didn't occur in may case have to restart the game after selecting the graphics card.
Good luck hopefully this helps, however it did remove my lag on battlezone.
