Request: Ground Transportation Pretty Please

With all this running in these massive adventure zones like the Sphere and New Romulus maybe it's time to get a Segway or ARGO in the game. I'm sure it would be a good c-store or lock box item. It' doesn't have to be a combat vehicle just something that lasts longer than motion accelerator on a tactical.

    You could use the New Romulus Transport System or the Sphere City Ground Transporters :)

    Not to mention to look for a blue buff that is laying around that gives you a movement speed boost. Has the shape of a humanoid in motion (I guess it is?) and is dark blue.

    It would have been a perfect place for the Risa Jetpacks.

    As am I! Then they could implement some of that "fighting while flying" code from Champions :D

    If the Winter Event happens as I figure is planned, you'll get a chance to score some Frosted Boots, which can really get you trucking in the Battlezone. When activated you move twice as fast as with motion accelerator and the buff lasts as long as you like. Just don't expect to be able to turn quickly.

    It's like Quantum Slipstream for your legs!

    I would rather go otherway and add timecap of some seconds to sprint or resource like fatihgue that raises while you sprint and then you have to regain streth before sprinting again.

    This would be to prevent people looking silly while sprinting :)

    Why? Because people are too hurry to go anywhere these days, there has to be some mechanic to force people slow down.

    I was going to say I would like that thing Picard rode in in Nemesis. But now I think riding that dinosaur with lasers on it's head would be even sweeter.

    Just to be perfectly honest -- if they offer a T-Rex as a p2w mountable animal, I'm done. You know darn well that's what will be on the table if they add ground transport because all the JJ fans will be begging to pay hundreds of dollars just for the orgasmic high they'll get from it.

    Said NO to Arc. Gets punished by not being given a free outfit, free lobi, and free shuttle. Now forced to use Arc's site when trying to get to STO site. Still not rewards for beta testing the Arc website by force. Bravo Cryptic.

    This used to be in the game in the beginning and they took it out... now it only applies when you're in combat mode.

    The reason I ask for this is because when you complete your zone and try to make it back to the transporter to assist another zone it takes to long to get to the transporter and then to the v-rex on the other maps. Not so much about being in a hurry as much as the game requires you to hurry.

    I like both ideas... and will definitely get the boots this year.

    Mounts would be something that would definitely make PWE/Cryptic a lot of money so with the influx of large areas like New Romulus and the battle zone at the Sphere it seems like a good time for them to consider adding mounts to STO...
