I usually hear it when I'm playing science via my wells exotic damage, torp build, who's main damage contribution is a pimped out gravity wells, eject warp plasma, plasma torped to death build that burns the hull right through shields. (My compliments to dontdrunkimshoot,)
So I usually have to get nice and close to dump all that lovely but deadly plasma on her.
Funny thing is, It's still eating away at her hull even if she cloaks and moves away. Not that some with a narrow strictly line em up and shoot em mentality would notice.
And your GW with a little Viral Matrix can suck her right back out as soon as she cloaks. :-P
I don't, and I don't care to know. It seems rather obvious that if they haven't put it in the notes, you can assume that it isn't finished.
Try a different perspective; there are a bunch of people who can't login at all. Should they, or should your problem be given priority? They'd be crazy if they don't work on the major problem first.
They also don't have it listed as a known issue. Thus it's not unreasonable to ask if they are aware of the issue.
Still, a LT.Commander doesn't order me (a Vice Admiral of some significant seniority) to fetch a data crystal and fly my battleship across the map to hand it to some other low-rank makeweight...

OK before I start this is going to be harsh, but true. This is a battle zone you get that right? This is a war you understand this too right? So if you go parading into a battle in a war where a species wishes your entire race dead they tend to shoot you. They are not going to invite you to tea and muffins or tell you good morning. They see you they shoot you. Unless you have abilities on your BOFFS to generate aggro or threat then you will be targeted. You also may have points into threat on your skills. Personally I run either MACO or Omega sets and have had no issues at all. Tacs, Scis, Engies, none of them have issues. I get shot at I kill what's shooting me. Crying to ask the entire zone mechanic to be rewritten because you get shot at is a little sad. Suck it up and grow a pair.
Yeah, but I'm there with 2 boffs with elite ground gear, and they're both shooting the same Voth while I'm trying to use a console, and I'm still taking all of the fire personally. I know it sounds whiny, but it really is kind of an issue, that I have to keep track of at least 2 other people and their away teams and stay with them at all times to have any hope of even surviving. The best part is that it seems to be affecting Rommie captains only--I saw some KDF and Fed guys waltz right past while shooting AOE weapons without drawing aggro, meanwhile I'm resorting to a stun pistol MK 12 VR and me and the rommie next to me are getting slaughtered. I'm pretty sure that it's an issue.
Plus, I CAN'T kill what shoots me. I can (barely) take down 4 Voth basic minions if both of my boffs are still alive. Against a spec ops, I ALWAYS die, without fail. They shoot me even when I'm stealthed. I don't have the OMEGA MK 12 set yet, but I have MK 12 VR armor with damage resistance, reg shields, and reg hp. My shields are MK 12 elite cap-reg. My weapon is normally a MK 12 VR polaron minigun.
I'm going to try it with my fed captain today and see if it's any better.
If you are going to report a bug its best to include a specific account of what happened. Where it happened and when it happened also helps immensely. Most people seem to think that what this player said here is a bug report. In actuality it just looks like some kid sitting in the floor crying that its broken. I have completed researcher defense myself several times. I don't know what other "Certain special encounters" you mean so I cant help.
It's really just the researcher rescue, plus one of the space battlezone found missions--the one where you have 5 minutes to disable the sphere device. Park researcher rescue is working, but city and outskirts are not, not sure why. Sorry, I should be more clear.
Tacs don't suck for ground PvP. Perhaps if the Voth NPCs are too difficult for you to handle I might suggest PvP may not be the best place for you to be. Not being nasty but you just asked that an entire zone be altered because NPCs were killing you too much. You will get more mercy from them than you will from PvPers.
Well, then I must be a damn near worthless ground player, because I always get slaughtered in ground pvp, without fail. I can survive elite Manus stfs in the basic mk 11 jammy ground set, and I can get first place in CC elite in a mirror ha'apax warbird equipped with non-fleet polaron weapons, and I can even hold my own in space pvp, but whenever I hit the ground on pvp I lose to everyone. The only time I won a pvp match was against a total noob who happened to be using a plasma weapon while I was wearing plasma resistance shields and energy resistance armor.
