this further relates to the bugs with starships that can separate, but specifically the multivector (as that's the only one i have). I've seen this effect the bortas, so i presume it effects the oddy and other ships that can separate, however i dunno how many have been hit by this.
so to keep from necroing my last topic about the troubles of the multivector,
http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=886701 and because this relates to other ships as well, i'm posting this as separate
with season 8, my multivector started seriously flipping out. the results are laughable, and in a way are really funny. on the other hand, it makes no sense why this could be happening, and i have to wonder what happened to the starship AI code and is causing pet ships to act like they're drunk beyond reason.
i made a video to show off exactly what its doing.

note this is just one of the things. beta section continuously tries to fly directly into explosions, and does NOT avoid them. gamma barely opens fire (nothing new) but it most commonly activates all of its buffs to ram a target. this makes it look really silly when fighting voth.
so as i said, they're drunk. .... really drunk.
this isnt a high priority to be fixed yet, i'm just curious how many other ships suffer from this.

But, upon separation, the saucer will sometimes sit there and spin wildly or hover and twitch or zig zag or simply act like a dope.
Honestly, the Galaxy class ships deserve to be upgraded. This ship was one of the most important and ground breaking ships in Star Trek period, and it is sort of a slap-in-the-face that it is so weak, especially when ships that came before it seem to have more power and are much stronger. 2 tactical consoles? Seriously? This is where STO has failed, and yet they ignore all requests and comments regarding fixing this issue.
Fail.
Thank you for that
