Flickering consoles

Has this ever been used in game? Like a console being damaged or partially deprived of power. or is it a limitation of the engine preventing it from being used on maps..?

    I think it's just a matter of them never trying it yet. Some consoles already have a television screen 'blur' thing already, so it would just be a matter of making glitchy textures. ;)

    Good idea! Yes, we can do it, have to do some special setup for it, but it would work.

    Well you guys already have it. Remember when D'kel Shon gets a sound beating in Facility 2048? All the consoles and LCARS on the defiant are flickering as his bridge is in quite a sorry state.

    Never heard of that facility... is it more clandestine than Facility 4028?

    As far as already have them... anyone notice the consoles on ESD today? instead of LCARS all the time have some messed up versions and black versions in the cycle and theres the power failure console.

    Could be some fun stuff that can be added if Cryptic and PWE would release Taco and allow him a couple hours a day or 1 day a week to let his imagination take the leed. Good artist and a good imagination I am sure he could add some wow factor if they let him.
