Engineering Ground Gear

So I've recently gotten max reputation with Omega Task Force and will be working on getting a ground set soon. Problem is I have no idea what set to get. I'm an engineer with a preference for the Fabrication Specialist Kits and my Romulan Flamethrower.

Any Suggestions?

    Adapted MACO (or normal KHG) works very well for engineers, since its 2-piece bonus is a great self-heal, complementing the usual shield heals engineers have.

    While you may like the fabrication kit, I'd urge you to experiment around with other types, Enemy Neutralization especially, or Equipment Technician when combined with Diagnostic Engineer doffs.

    The MACO or Adapted MACO sets work well on an engineer. The MACO set is nice because the shield healing from the set scales on your Engineering Repairs skill point box. Adapted MACO is nice for the reasons outlined above by futurepastnow.
