We will be bringing down the Tribble server for maintenance to apply a new update: ST.35.20131029a.14

General:
  • Server stability updates.

    Every time you post this, I assume it means "super-secret, awesome update that we're not going to tell you about." :P

    I have a feeling that no amount of "Server stability" improvements will help, once Season 8 goes live tomorrow.

    Hopefully it won't be down for too long, the Voth ground zone is quite addictive.

    I usually dislike ground zones, even the Nukara (endless annoying tholian spawns, bleh) and New Romulus (enjoyed the exploration, but not the huge list of tasks). This seems like a good balance between the two.

    I kind of wish there were more teleporters, or that they were more accessible. It is annoying to not make it to a zone when the V-rex is active before it fails because the map is massive and a bit of a labyrinth (mostly the city portion, in reference to reaching different adjoining areas, but there is no path, such as the teleporter there).

    I spend a lot of time there even though I got to T5 rep already, excellent job overall!

    All this is are adjustments to lower the server capacity to keep the servers from failing, but it won't help. It's also going to make S8 look like the most amazing thing ever with everyone in the world trying to log on, but we know its not true. They do it every update.
