Friend can not sign up for STO

i have a friend that has tried 3 different email addresses and many different usernames. it works when he finishes the sign up process but when he goes to log into sto or the website it says that the username.email or password is incorrect. has this been happening to anyone else that has been trying to sign up? and if there is a resolve, how do we fix it so he can enjoy sto.

    Well at least I can say, older Version of the Opera Browser had Problems with Logging in to the Website...
    Updating it or using a different browser may provide a solution at least to the website problem.

    Did your friend check their e-mail for a verification e-mail? If so did they verify the account? I signed up years ago so I am not 100% that they still send one to you, but I would think that they still do. Also it may take an hour or two for the account to activate.
