Advisory Character Roles

I think that it would be cool to be able to have one of the cast members from any of the movies or series in an advisory role.

How the Advisory Role would work is first you would have to purchase the Advisory Role Slot for a ship using Zen then you could place your Advisor into the slot to enhance various ship functions.

For example : 7 of 9 or Hugh would increase damage done to Borg Cubes (7) or smaller drone ships such as Borg Scouts (Hugh) by 25% and 35% respectively. Both Advisors would also boost the defenses of the ship pertaining to the damage that Borg do by 35%.

Mr. Worf as an Advisor would boost all Away-Team members bonuses by 25%

And so forth with each Advisor having their own unique bonus that would be applied to both characters and ships.

Obtaining an Advisor would be random and could from any mission or from a Drop Box that would not need a key to be opened. Advisors could be used by any rank of player from Cadet all the way up to Admiral.

The Advisor would also at random times inform you what components of your ship or gear that you use for your away team would be best suited to use in order to make your ship or away team have the best possible fit.

Each Advisor would have a random duration timer where the minimum amount of time the Advisor would be part of your crew would forty-eight hours and the maximum amount of time would be four days.

Updated - Why not create a new promotion called Advisor Drop Lock Boxes. The Advisor Drop Lock Box would contain a random member from any of the movies or t.v. series. Once the Lock Box has been opened the Advisor would grant certain bonuses to the ship and away team members based upon their characters duties in the movies or shows. For example Deanna Troi would increase the sensor range of ship by 50% while increasing away team members regeneration points by 25%. Or Mr. Worf would increase the chance to hit a target both while in space or on the ground as well as increasing damage done to the target. Other events surrounding the Advisor Drop Lock Boxes would be missions granted to the player only by the Advisor where the rewards would make you rich beyond the dreams of Avarice.
