heres another idea using ddks help
weapons:
2plasma dhcs + romulan torp(or another dhc, and this torpedo for a turret)
2 plasma turrets + experimental plasma beam ( to get the plasma dmg bonus, plus beam targetings, plus it doesnt drain weapon's power, but i wonder if using these 2 pieces is worthy for 7 or 8% +plasma b?nus ... )
set
perhaps full borg set, coz i can get 130 shield's power with a2b, and it will benefit from the embassy consoles ( one of the turrets migh be changed for a kcb )... this or a fleet shield
eng consoles:
1 fleet neutro + assimilated module if i use kcb, for the drain proc, otherwise it will be 2 fleet neutros
sci:
4 embassy consoles that gives +plasma dmg, still to choose ...
tac:
4 plasma infusers
skills:
tt1+crf1
epts1+a2b1+ewp/rsp/dem
eptw1/epte1+a2b1
he1+ss1+tbr2+vm3(a gw3 would be nice with the ewp though ...)
jam1/tb1 ( or tss, because if i use a tractor beam, the tbr will be replaced for a he3 )
im thinking more of sticking to the jam sensors
pets : the same, but this time, perhaps elite scorpions if i manage to use tss
i need a good energy/shield drain pet ...
I have a question to ask: how do you balance the loss of Aux power with all the sci skills that heavily rely on it (other than TBR)? Sure an aux battery helps, but it isn't up all the time, and when the effect wears off it messes with your aux system by shutting it off.
none of those skills require aux besides he ... the jam would be just for a 3-4 second spam, and the ss for seggis only, but yes i use an aux battery with focus phaser and he though ....
this is the best i could get just because i like the idea of having 2 crf's and 2 rsp's, i dont know why but dem is not working with dhcs as good as it works with faw ... so i changed it for an rsp
the ship tanks very well with 130 shield power and the complete borg set, yes, the borg shield tanks very well xP i compared it with a fleet elite resilient with a friend and the borg shield tanked more
i find the build cool, but not better as normal sci builds, just different ... aux power is too precious for us
Why would you run Aux2bat on a Science Vessel when Photonic Officer II exists? Sure you will have a minute in between where your cooldowns are at maximum, but at least you won't be burning auxiliary to keep low cooldowns.
with a commander sci, it would be a waste to spend 1 or 2 slots with po, the objective is to chain the max sci skills as possible, ive tryed it once with po3, its great, but in that minute, you die without tt xD po builds are odd
