Hey Cryptic guys, please tell me you have plans to install a Security Officer at the command center or better yet the flotilla. It would really be nice not to have to run back to Qo'Nos or ESD when I want to turn in contraband and/or prisoners. The two palces already have every other service available, so why not a Sec Officer also?

Yes, we need a Security Officer at the Command Center (and maybe also on the Flotilla).
We also need a bartender in the Command Center; I don't like having to do the extra work of going to Nimbus-III in order to sell my space junk for the best price I can get from an NPC (which is always the price offered by a bartender); the Feds have a bartender on ESD and at their Academy, and the KDF has a bartender in the First City. Where's our bartender?
While I totally agree on the need for Security at both places and a Barkeep or 2... DS9 is also an option :P
Don't troll; it's not helpful (or cute) and is only likely to result in flames.
Drozana Station is also an option (and closer to most of the action than DS9). So is Qo'noS First City (or ESD, if you went that way). So are several other places. But why should Romulans have to go to multiple locations to accomplish what KDF and Fed players can do in one place?
ESD:
Security Officer, Shipyard (gotta take a turbolift and deal with the non-seamlessness of the design), Admiral's office, bartender (one at the Academy, too), exchange, mail, tailor, vendors, bank, etc
First City:
Security Officer, NO shipyard (go to the orbital shipyard), High Council Hall, bartender (none at the Academy), exchange, mail, tailor, vendors, bank, etc.
New Romulus Command Center: NO Security Officer, Shipyard (gotta take a turbolift and deal with the non-seamlessness of the design), Admiral's office, NO bartender anywhere, exchange, mail, tailor, vendors, bank, etc.
Honestly, I spend more time running around between First City, Klingon Academy (oh, yeah, why don't Romulans have our own Academy, too???), the Qo'noS Orbital Shipyard, Nimbus-III, Drozana Station, Ganalda Station, DS9, the Flotilla, and the New Romulus Command Center than I do actually playing (out of all of which, I would prefer to simply be at the Command Center, although there are reasons to buy certain items in specific locations for a better price); if we had everything in one convenient "central" location, that would only enhance the gaming experience.

No trollin here sugar, I woulda mentioned Drozana too if Id remembered it. The OP mentioned only ESD and Qo'nos, I was just reminding him there ARE other options... I also agreed New Romulus needed these things, now get yer panties un-cinched and chill.
Yes I know there are other options, which to be honest aren't really options at all. Drozana is just as far as ESD or Qo'Nos from Tau Dewa, and DS9 even further. Then factor in the lack of any other sectors offering Romulan/Reman boff recruitment (that i've seen) and I'd much prefer to stay close to home. However, the main reason I'd rather see a sec officer dropped into the command center is that it's the racial hub for the Romulan/Reman players (and still I'd prefer the flotilla get one also). I only hit the command center when I need to do doff recruitment and like the layout of the flotilla much better than the multi leveled command center, personal preferrence I suppose.
Will not be staying up waiting for this one to happen. Maybe they fear it will be too comfy in that command center, so we don't go around and hug all the aliens out there. Which pretty much is the universal solution to every issue.
Completely agree with this. There needs to be a Security Officer assigned in NR Command as well as somekind of a food/beverage vendor that is also missing.
Seriously Cryptic, how do you manage to forget these things? This is similar to the console in Nimbus III where you linked access to bank and mail, but forgot to put exchange. Fail.

I'm baffled by this one. Bartenders do not buy your items at higher prices than any other NPC vendor. They buy at 1/2 the listed price. About half of the vendors buy at this price. In the Command Center I just pop over to the Ground Requisition vendor in the room with the tailor.
Just a thought...what if whatever the Contraband items are isn't illegal in the Romulan Republic, hence, no need to have a Security Officer to turn them in to?
