Conference Room

I'm thinking of doing a classic scene in Trek, a conference meeting between the captain and the senior bridge officers where they discuss the on going problem and propose solutions. This would be something we regularly see with Picard and Janeway's crew and I'ld like for the player to do this with his bridge officers.

Unfortunately, due to the limitations of the Foundry, I can't get the player to sit in a chair, nor can I get his/her bridge officers to sit in their chairs. And I can't think of a creative alternative which is why I would like to hear suggestions from the community as to how I can best pull this off given the limitations of the Foundry?

    you can have the player sit down, one of the options when making an object interactable is to set the animation, I'm fairly sure theres a sit animation in there somewhere that i have used in the past

    but they have to first stand on the chair to do it ( requires a little bit of stage directions or they end up in the floor)

    As for BOFFs i can't think of anything besides having a Dialogue box with a Security Officer that says, Captain level clearance only or something, and then ask the player to leave their bridge officers in the hallway manually, or perhaps the BOFFs could be manually positioned standing up as if they are presenting Information to a gathering of (random NPC) officers ? and the Captain

    Its a real shame that we can't get around this, One thing i would like asset wise, is the ability to Have only the player beam down, And to be able to select the Players BOFF as an NPC contact, so we could position them anyway we can do now with custom NPCs already

    as a side note i rather like using the Utopia Planitia for briefings because of all the ready layed out chairs , with some heavy set dressing of course

    Ha... this is pretty much exactly how I begin "Ghosts of War, Part V" - with a briefing at Utopia Planitia, where I instruct the user to leave their BOffs on the transporter pad, then go to one of the conference rooms, where I instruct them on how to sit down at one of the chairs for the briefing.
