I think this is great news! Love Michael Dorn doing voiceovers, and happy to see that you only have to be level 10 to do the FE. (Is that correct? I only ask because I thought Romulans had to be level 11 to choose an ally, which is required before doing any FE-type thing?)
Off to level a new toon... I needed another KDF anyway.

Think there's any chance he has slightly different dialogue depending on faction, just a line or two? I mean I'd be very very surprised at the awesomeness of such a thing, but simply a little acknowledgement of who he's working alongside, given his rather tangled history involving all three groups.
Her VO was cool for the first 3 minutes, but I actively avoid Dabo Tables now because you play her dialogue non-stop ad nauseum. There really needs to be an option to turn off Ambient VOs.
Zachary Quinto, Leonard Nimoy, Denise Crosby and now Michael Dorn.
I think the next voiceover will be Jeri Ryan, Kate Mulgrew, Robert Beltran and many more from Star Trek Voyager will do a voiceover for Delta Quadrant.
Unfortunately Zachary Quinto's VO work has been gutted by the new tutorial and even Nimoy's may take a hit if new characters don't get to see the old intro video for Feds anymore like it is on Tribble atm.

90% of Nimoy's Dialogue is out side of the Opening narration, he does the voice for most of the sector blocks, and has audio in that time travel missions.
Please call me un-grateful; really , I do deserve it.
But of all the announcements, this was not really what I was hoping for. I am not a fan of Worf.
In a way, I was hoping for some news on the Krenim, or maybe the update of the Cryptic Engine. And the 2 people I , really, REALLY, want to see in STO (VO) is Patrick Stewart and Brent Spiner (I love Data soooooooooooooooo much ) I don't know what to say really. Thank you?
You guys go and enjoy your new toy, I will go off and sulk [again ] for a while.
And yet you don't see how this may open doors for other cast members to do VO's for STO. The TNG cast does keep in touch with one another.
TBH, I saw this coming after attending STPhilly this year. He stated there, as well as at other STCons, that he would most definitely do VO work for STO...for a million dollars (I didn't know Cryptic had that kind of bread.) Will Mr. Dorn be introducing the Klingon sectors?

Not certain, but I thought I read somewhere in the Tribble area that they pulled the tutorial stuff in order to test something else. (not as a plan to remove anything from the game)

ah ha, i knew something worf related was in the works, ever since i noticed the big overhaul on his character in first city, jeeze almost a month ago now i guess.
oh man, the only way to make the kdf tutorial better would be to have worf voice it throughout! and since one of the interview questions was about Firstborn, and the kdf tutorial was basically the squeal to that episode, taking place in the approximate year alexander goes back in time, made unnecessary due to your character becoming a part of that chain of events, im thinking that yes, the tutorial is soon to have VO!
well, its not a new ship, but thats certainly some great kdf love!
Big respect for Michael Dorn for doing this for us!!
I don't want to sound rude, but I really dont get some of you people that say you're dissapointed from this announcement. There's nothing better than having an actual actor that had such prominent part in the creation of the Star Trek universe comming back to our little corner of Star Trek and bringing one of the iconic characters to life.
Having mr.Dorn on board is amazing. Worf will truly be Worf again and we get to have yet another piece of Star Trek in STO. I'm very excited about this and can't wait to see what will Worf's role be in the upcomming episode!
So I want to thank everyone involved in getting mr.Dorn in STO, but most of all I want to thank mr.Dorn himself for doing this for us, the Trek fans.
This is epic news indeed! I love that STO is bringing the stars to the... well, stars.
I am very excited that this time the actor is coming to the KDF side.
Thanks for making this happen and thanks Brandon for keeping us in suspense.
Well thats good news indeed, epic it is not though. Epic would be Mr. Dorn taking over control of the Klingon faction side of the game and making adjustments like more honor, rich cultural heritage, more rituals, less savage bloodthirsty warrior, less pirate, and civilians on Qonos.
But still doing voiceover work is a good thing, he is a good voice actor. But please atleast listen to his opinion on the current KDF faction and listen.

so let me get this straight. cryptic spent an obsene amount of money for worf voice over instead of hiring someone to fix playable content.
interesting.

to continue my comments from earlier
1) That was a bad interviewer.
"whatcha doing now?"
"oh working on a star trek Klingon worf script that has traction"
"ah...next question"
and
2) Wow. Now would be a good opportunity for a new KDF ship.

I'm going to be very optimistic and take that as a yes.
Don't forget Chase!
Cheers,

So it really isn't a big hit at all.
Too Bad Zachary Quinto VO no longer exists in the new Fed tutorial

The only thing more perfect would be getting a Regent Worf Negh'var would the voice over but the voice over is great in its own right

That truly would be EPIC! The KDF deserves this very special touch.
