Tear's Season 8 Bug Report

Bugs:

Moving your camera angle causes NPCs, players, and some objects in the park area of the Battlezone to vanish, this also affects the floor tiles in the outskirts area.

Sometimes the control indicator overlay for each area in the Battlezone doesn't render over top of the minimap. (The red and blue regions, also the icon for what each area is.)

The ramp at the doorway leading out of the command center to the park area there is a spot that you or your NPC can get stuck on while running.

The number of Dyson Marks I have isn't indicated in the inventory area under currency.

While capturing an artillery point sometimes one of the generators will not deactivate fully making it impossible to capture.

Comments:

While I do enjoy the new content I have a few observations.

First off, the Voth being the Voth, they seem way too easy to defeat in space combat. The only thing making them somewhat difficult at this point is their temporary invincibility abilities.

Ground combat is perfect, best ground experience you guys have ever developed, just fix the major graphics bugs we're having and leave it alone aside from the rollover buffs, which don't seem to do much, so you may want to look into making those a bit better/more useful. Also the Command Credits that drop after capturing an area are first come first serve, which is going to cause a LOT of grief when the update goes to the live server.

The new STF The Breach is amazingly fun and everyone I've talked to about it has said the same thing. That being said however we also said that the interior of the ship is really easy to get lost in and an occasional directional hint would be much appreciated. The same comments for the boss of the level as well, There's no instructions on what exactly to do to kill the core, and blindly firing away while fully buffed is pointless due to the fact that there are certain spots you have to hit in order to kill it.
Some people buy Tier 6 ships and expect to win. Other people buy Tier 6 ships and are Tier 6 pilots.

the Command Credits are simply awful. I don't want to run around like Mario or Sonic the hedgehog and pick up coins. Putting this into a star trek game is ridiculous.

Agreed on the command credits. Leaving them like they are is an invitation to trouble. Why can't you just give them to us, like everything else? Either in a regular drop or in the pop up rewards box. That way, it will reward the ones who did the work, no the one who sat cloaked the whole fight and ran in at the last second.

So far this has been the issue with me, not just Voth content but throughout the game. You don't mention which graphics bugs, but for me it is everywhere: space backgrounds, white boxes appearing over items, uniforms and objects appearing as solid glowing white, color shifts, bank/inventory items appearing as empty boxes with a colored outline and a number for stack size, mouse cursor disappearing, my ship arrow not appearing on Galaxy map, most lighting 'aura' or glow effects being just large balls of color, etc.

I will log in and play for about an hour or so, then on a sector change or entering battle or just bringing up my inventory/bank, that will trigger the graphics problems. Rarely (ie, twice out of about 20 occurences) opening a dialog box, interaction, or zone change will reset the graphics and they will be okay for a while. Otherwise I have to completely exit and restart the game to get them working again.

ATI Radeon graphics, and even though I had fairly current drivers, I just updated to the latest (13.9 I believe) - problems still occur.

I had absolutely zero graphics glitches prior to the season 8 patch, so no, it's not the computer.
