Ancient Aliens - The Hur'q

The ancient race of insectoids, referred to in Klingon mythology as the Hur'q, are believed to have invaded Qo'nos sometime in the 14th century CE. They stood a full meter taller than most Klingons and hailed from the Gamma Quadrant. They brought with them advanced ships that apparently had warp capability. The invasion was initially a success until the warrior spirit of the Klingon people rallied across the homeworld to repell the enemy fleet. As the tides of war turned in the Empire's favor many ships were captured. Klingon engineers were known to be accomplished weaponsmiths and fortress builders, however, this new technology was far more advanced and took years to develop. According to legend the remainder of the fleet simply vanished. Some have speculated their disappearance could have been related to an undiscovered transwarp technology they may have possessed as a Hur'q crew was discovered trapped in subspace by the USS Typhon.
