Fastest ways to get alot of EC

So sinnce I've started saving up EC for lockbox ships I was wondering, what are the best and fastest ways of making lots of EC?

I'm currently only doing fleet actions Starbase 24 and Gorn minefield for the purple Mk XI items you get when getting 1st or 2nd place in the fleet actions(which I always do).

So on a good day with some luck droppig very valuable items I can make around 3-8m EC. day ant on less lucky days I can make around 500k-2m EC.

So is there any better and faster ways of making lots of ECs?

Converting dil to zen for keys

Converting cash to keys and fleet modules is the fastest way, but ultimately you're spending cash for something your get free.

I've used the reverse method dil to zen to fleet modules for cash increases in very rare cases when I've had surplusses.

Doffs sell for a pretty penny on the exchange. just pick up a few pack, crack them open, and sell the goodies.

I just learned this a few days ago. I make about 300k EC per day just on the foundry missions.

Search the Foundry Missions for "farm"

Play that mission. When stuff stops dropping you have reached your daily "loot" cap. Hop out of the mission

Sell all the green uncommon items to a vendor. I get better prices for that stuff then on the Exchange.

Sell the blue rare gear to the vendor if you can get a better price there. Exchange if not.

Do this on each character you have each day.

I have 4 characters so I net about 1.2 million a day.

I also do the Tau Dewa Sector Patrol (Daily). I only play the space fighting missions and they drop quite a bit of loot:

20% ?Carraya System Patrol?: Defeat 5 waves of Tal Shiar ships

20% ?Japori System Patrol?: Defeat 5 waves of Nausicaan ships.

20% ?Beta Thoridor System Patrol?: Defeat 5 waves of Rival Klingon ships.

20% ?Archer System Patrol?: Defeat 5 waves of Tholian ships.

20% ?Gamma Eridon System Patrol?: Defeat 5 waves of Gorn ships.

20% ?Narendra System Patrol?: Defeat 5 waves of Hirogen ships.

If I only do this to get the Romulan Marks the loot I also gets gives me another 200K

Another option is to grind up fleet credits, by any way that is good for you or your fleet, then if your base is high enough, buy purple doffs with FCs and sell them. You should get at least 400k for the unwanted ones, some of them being worth a few million. Klingon side doffs tend to sell for more too.
