Game crashes upon full load

One of my characters was doing a battleground, when an Elite Spire STF popped. I chose the STF and the countdown began. Upon "beam up" the game crashed to desktop. I can now no longer get into the game with this character. The moment the counter reaches 100 upon load, the game crashes to desktop

Edit: This has continued for over 10 relogs. I have attempted safe mode, it crashes. I have attempted to log into another character log all the way out, back in, and the game crashes but only with the one character that was on the battleground. Logging in with Safe Mode the second time finally worked.

A similar issue is happening with me.

I've been trying to do a "Storming the Spire" on Normal difficulty, but when the map change happens the game crashes.

I'm having the same issue. Tried to join Storming the Spire (Elite), and the game crashed to desktop. I restarted it and clicked to play on that character (safe mode) and it instantly crashed to desktop again.

Same issue, crashes after trying to load storming the spire. No error code given.

I had a CtD, attempting to enter "Storming the Spire" STF, both from the Battlezone and from other maps. So it seems obvious that something is very wrong.
