How about some new stance options, too?

While we're discussing character models and costumes, and I know there's a list of wanted emotes floating around, I thought I'd request some new stance options.

I'd like a stance with an arms-crossed idle animation that isn't exaggerated and aggressive like the Brawler stance. A hands-on-hips stance (Janeway's usual pose) might also be nice.

I think the animations required for these are already in the game, too.

I'm sure others can come up with more ideas.

More stances would be very good indeed.

    I can support a crossed-arms "Defensive" stance.

Maybe a "Shifty" stance would be good, especially for Ferengi and Orion characters.

or "Timid" in case someone wants to do a character that 'wonders why they decided to get involved in all this madness'...
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." -- Q, TNG: "Q-Who?"
^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...

    Yes, more stances please. :)

Some subtle variations on the standard one would be very welcome to add a bit of variety for the away team.

I would support letting males use the feminine stance as well

I get upset that my character can't stand femininely

In the notes for the Voyager episode, Macrocosm it is suggested that the inspiration for the Tak Tak's unique form of body language was the fact that Kate Mulgrew, as Janeway, had a habit of placing her hands on her hips. Thus, it is an inside joke in this episode when Janeway and Neelix refer to the gesture as a gross insult to the Tak Tak.

So, yes. Hands on Hips stance or even as an emote would be grand.

Some more natural looking stances would be appreciated IMO.
Most of the ones we got look too cartoonish for my taste.

This. Sharing all non-biological options for both sexes would be ideal.

We could also use 'beast-like' stances for some of the more animalistic species of Alien we create. Something along the lines of what Champions Online has would be good.
