Thank You Caitian Star Pride

In a rare moment of any MMO, a gracious and kind act was committed by another player today.

Today I was looking to buy the Odyssey uniform for one of my characters. My small Fed fleet has not yet achieved a fleet tailor yet, so I was asking around for a fleet willing to let me buy one from their tailor. The first offer I received was access... for 5 million. Now I know these fleets have put time and resources into building the tailor, but I also know that the uniform costs no requisitions. Making a profit from it is just ridiculous in my opinion. I turned the person down, and asked around some more. Not only did no one offer, no one even replied. So I flew around, asked more to no avail. Finally, I went to DS9 and asked. Not only did I find someone willing, but he wasn't sure how to do it. He (or she?) easily could have ignored me rather than ask how, but he took the time to ask and invite me to his fleet starbase. When I thanked him, rather than just accept the gratitude, he said to thank the fleet. So here I am.

Thank you so much to the Caitian Star Pride fleet. Not only do you have a great member in Panthera, but you must have a great program in encouraging your members to acts of kindness and humility. To any who read this and have considered creating a Caitian, consider this great fleet for a home for your Caitian. The 7th Joint Task Force is proud to stand beside their friends in the Caitian Star Pride- for the good of the Federation, the Republic, and the whole of Star Trek Online. May whatever deity you believe in watch over you all.

I salute the Caitian Star Pride and the great acts performed by its member Panthera.

    If you need anything in future that your fleet doesn't have access to, consider joining the "NOP Public Service" channel, there are plenty of fleets who give out invites for free.

    If you need anything that requires a simple invite to a starbase or fleet holding, just ask in there for an invite and if someone is around who can invite, they will. You can also try "Public Services" as well, assuming the channel mods haven't muted the channel for a minor infraction of their rules.

    You should know by my signature I am Ferasan. I just say that in public to make the Caitians think we're allies. We'll strike when they least expect it :D.

    I always enjoy hearing about this kind of thing. So many times you read about people being rude. It is refreshing to hear the good sides for a change.

    NOP public service is really the best, i had need of SB T5 access twice the last few days and got it there in quite short time

    there are a lot of nice ppl in this game, they are just not always easy to find or brightly glowing to be seen at once

    That is because many have had to turn off zone chat to keep their sanity.
