Why are these spawned in space?! I died right when the CE died and clicked leave map on accident instead of respawn... Just wondering who had the brilliant idea of dropping them in space.

Join the club, the worse thing is when you complete Vault ensnared and you have a full inventory, you lose it lolz

Or you leave Mine trap before you got the crate
Now found frequenting MWO short term and then Star Citizen long term. Raged Quit PVP long ago

Yeah... The capability to "force" things directly into your inventory exists, and is demonstrated on multiple occasions... why can't it be done that way at the end of STFs?

This may or may not be the case but it could be that it was done because of people afking and getting their reward automatically. With loot that drops means you need to be present to pick it up. With the trial of a afk penalty system on redshirt this may be removed.

I think it might have to do with the way the marks hour works. the OTHER CE rewards are autodumped into your inventory. But not the marks pack. I've tested it and you get a different mark pack depending on whether you played during marks hour or not. It LOOKS the same but the pack you get during marks hour will always give 50 marks when opened, and the other only 40.

If you don't bother to pick up your paycheck, thats your problem and nobody else's. And if you have a full inventory, discard something.

There doesn't really need to be any special explanation for why you have to pick the reward up yourself. Its a design choice. Although, I do think it would be nice if all the queue missions behaved consistently instead of some giving you the stuff directly, some requiring you to pick it up and some having a combination of the two.

The there is the problem of the greatly-overused F key...

So I swoop in to pick up my loot... and just as my finger comes down on the F key to take the item, the dialog prompt pops up to tell me that we completed the objective and do I want to "Leave Sector" or "Not Yet"... and I end up leaving sector when I wanted to pick up my loot.

So... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... give prompts and interactions their own key, and picking up stuff their own key.
