Hello everyone! Just so I can get to know the feelings of everyone I would like you to list a few things for me. Here they are:
1. Favorite Ship Class-
This category can include any ship from the canon and STO. It may also include ships from any book that is treated as canon or close to canon.
2. Favorite Department-
This is a simple category, do you like science, engineering, medical, operations, tactical, command, or security.
3. Favorite Race-
Any race from STO (other than Alien) or from Star Trek canon.
Thanks,
Timothy
PS, I don't consider anything from the reboot series canon.

2. Favorite Department-
This is a simple category, do you like science, engineering, medical, operations, tactical, command, or security. Tactical. Just, the best, for no reason.
3. Favorite Race-
Any race from STO (other than Alien) or from Star Trek canon. I like teh Deferi, Breen, Jem'Hadar, Caitians, Andorians, Vulcans, and lots lots more, but I think my fave is the Vorta.
Thanks,
Timothy (Yeah, Thanks Timothy.)
PS, I don't consider anything from the reboot series canon. It is Canon, but I prefer to ignore it.
Currently, a Tactical Romulan captain. MOST of the Romulan ships they can fly fit tactical captains better than the others.
*sings* "I like Gammera! He's so neat!!! He is full of turtle meat!!!"
"Hah! You are doomed! You're only armed with that pathetic excuse for a musical instrument!!!" *the Savage Beast moments before Lonnehart the Bard used music to soothe him... then beat him to death with his Fat Lute*
1. As some people already know, I have a certain fondness for the Yeager-type, despite the obvious kitbashed nature of it. I actually want to get ahold of the Voyager and Maquis Raider model kits to make my own - cleaned up and blended together a little better, though...
2. This one's hard because so many career paths overlap - Worf started out in command/operations, went to Security/tactical, then to security/command; Data was science, operations and engineering all to a degree... Riker was operations or security (Gold uniform) before he went command, same with Kirk... Janeway and Picard both went from Science to Command like Spock did... Scotty was command-qualified but an engineer first...
What I guess I'm trying to say, in a round-about way, is that a good Starfleet Officer needs to be something of a jack of all trades to a degree, no matter what their specialty, so I can't really pick just one.
3. Almost every race has its positives and negatives...
But I'm going to go with Romulans. I can relate to them; they left their home to escape what they considered oppression and tyranny, went through trials and tribulations to find and create a new home... eventually saw it corrupted and perverted in the name of 'security' and 'the state' until it was destroyed from the inside, fractured, leaving those who believe in the 'modern' and corrupt form trying to insist their way is the only true way while others seek to go back to the ideals and reasons their society was founded in the first place, despite the threats, intimidation and outright violence from the other faction.
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." -- Q, TNG: "Q-Who?"

2. Tactical (they get to blow stuff up)
3. Romulan (Just awesome and the first major power with cloaking devices)
