Metryon Gas Cansiters Advice

Whats the best way to use these, I have had a quick play with them but they dont seem hugely effective, am I using them wrong or are they just naff.

    The general consensus is they suck.

    If it shut down engines like Eject Warp Plasma it would be quite awesome.
    I was once DKnight1000, apparently I had taken my own name so now I'm DKnight0001. :confused:
    If I ask you a question it is not an insult but a genuine attempt to understand why.
    When I insult you I won't be discreet about it, I will be precise and to the point stupid.

    should i just strip out the console for something else?
    if so, any recomendations.

    by now there are so many uiversal consoles that are generally considered worthwhile, like plasmonic leech (a few millions on the exchange) embassy and fleet mine consoles and reputation consoles

    if after checking all those sources you still have an empty slot, you are doing something wrong.

    One thing I found it works somewhat nice on is stripping shields, but beyond that once you get your DPS high enough on a ACR or FACR, than it looses its value.

    Can't really recommend anything if we don't know what you got.

    Vent Theta is far better than Metreon Gas. And has a Similar function minus the ignite ability.

    I'd run on a Standard Regent.
    Tac Consoles
    What ever Energy type you use.

    Eng Consoles
    2 x Neutronium, Fleet +Turn if possible.

    The Following Universal Consoles. Assimilated Module, Nukara particle Converter*, Plasmonic Leech with a Field Generator or Shield Emitter +threat in Science.

    Failing the one Sci Console you could always throw a 4th Universal or an RCS into Engineering to season to taste.

    *Nukara Particle Converter assume your a Beam Boat for the bonus [Acc]

    the leach is on my list, just waiting for one to be a reasonable price, i allready run the borg console, and my rep is not as of yet high enough on this toon for any others (had the borg console from the old borg space set) if the metryon gas console isnt realy that much use i will replace it with leech once i get it, will make my aux to bat build even better :)

    If your not using Eject Warp Plasma or Vent Theta Radiation console then use it in Infected: The Conduit (Elite) to slow down a little the Borg Spheres that are trying to get to the Big Generator. You can use it in The Cure Found (Elite) to slow a little Raptors or Negh'Var ships that are heading for the Kang.

    Outside of something like that it is not that good.

    The Availablility of the Plasmonic Leech is going down which means the prices will go up. The only way it will get cheaper is if the Lockbox that spawned it gets opened alot.

    The longer you wait the more expensive it gets. If you can't afford it now think around it.
