Jolan tru, fellow Captains. I'm an infrequent poster here and I've recently returned to STO from a few months off, precipitated by moving and getting a new job and all of that boring real-life stuff.
Anyway, I've had some positive response to Foundry missions that I've published, and I was thinking about ways to get more feedback and hopefully entertain more people with the work I've done. So far, I've published three missions, although I'm putting the finishing touches on a fourth.
My first two missions (for Federation players) are a duology -- "Facing the Past" and "Stepping Over the Line". They are meant to be played in order, as the second mission involves characters and plotlines from the first.
"Facing the Past"
ID: ST-HLG8VIEFW
Faction: Starfleet
Level: 31+
Door: Wolf 359 System
Playtime: ~45 min.
The mission begins with a seemingly routine detour to the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in orbit of Mars. But a mysterious death on the station prompts an investigation that involves an extremist group, an intransigent station commander, and a conspiracy that may run into the very heart of Starfleet itself.
"Stepping Over the Line"
ID: ST-HRD6VJLLN
Faction: Starfleet
Level: 46+
Door: Donatu System
Playtime: ~45 min.
This mission follows from the first mission, as key players in the Utopia Planitia events find themselves in the middle of a warzone, and a renegade colony threatens to bring down the fragile peace process between the Federation and Klingon Empire.
My third mission is a longer quest; I was hoping to recreate the feel of a feature film or two-part episode (one of the good ones!). It's not really a sequel to the first two, but it does feature some of the same characters, like tart-tongued Admiral Brugt and war-weary Ambassador to Qo'noS Hermione Barrasso.
"Venus Unveiled"
ID: ST-HMVS76E8T
Faction: Starfleet
Level: 41+
Door: Earth Spacedock, near the Admiral's Office
Playtime: ~60 min.
The mission starts with a ceremony to mark the official completion of the centuries-long terraforming process on Earth's sister planet. But a surprise guest reveals a shadowy plot that could have a devastating impact on the Federation, leading you and your crew on an epic journey through time and to a titanic battle against a familiar face...
Feedback is welcomed! And keep an eye out for my upcoming mission, "Alliances and Alignments" (41+) -- featuring Tal Shiar machinations, warring alien powers, and Garidian warbirds!

"Alliances and Alignments"
ID: ST-HCJ2IS7ST
Faction: Starfleet
Level: 41+
Door: T'iokol System
Playtime: ~45 min.
This mission begins in the Beta Quadrant, beyond the reaches of Federation space, where the nascent Romulan Republic is struggling to finalize an alliance with the Garidian Republic, a former client state of the Romulan Star Empire. Meanwhile, deadly alien powers clash in a battle that could have wide-reaching ramifications for the Federation and its allies...but is there more going on than meets the eye?

I'm also still hoping to get some folks to run through "Alliances and Alignments" so it can qualify for full Foundry rewards! It's the perfect mission if you feel like spending 30-45 minutes clobbering some aliens. Try it, you'll like it, especially if you've enjoyed any of my other Foundry quests.

I am excited, however, to provide a brief synopsis of the mission now that things are a bit more concrete: Starfleet wants you to try out a new transporter that can beam people and objects in between planets throughout the Sol system. Your mission will lead you to encounters with a Martian millionaire, squabbling settlers on Venus, and far beyond, to a confrontation with a determined foe on the outskirts of humankind's home system -- and, perhaps, to a battle against the enemy within.
A few characters from other missions will make appearances here and there, but it's a standalone story that I expect will take about 60-90 minutes to play through once complete.
I'll keep you posted!

I also recently revised the ending, so check it out!
"Worlds of the Federation"
ID: ST-HSLDXH7KJ
Faction: Starfleet
Level: 31+
Door: Starfleet Academy
Playtime: ~75 min.
Starfleet Special Projects, an elite division tasked with developing and testing advanced new Federation technologies, has an assignment for a skilled captain and his senior staff: explore the worlds of the Sol system without the use of a starship. What could go wrong?
