Introduction
Hey there!
I'm a long-time player recently returned to the game after an 8-month vacation. As most of my old characters either seemed boring or had hopelessly obsolete builds, I've picked up and begun finishing my KDF science officer. Sadly, however... The fleet I had previously been contributing to has become quiet and somewhat inactive socially during my typical play times. I am loathe to change fleets, but I find it annoying to have no one to talk with or group up for activities.
My play times are typically late-evening to early morning CST. My goal is to get back in the swing of PVP, which I enjoyed before, and I would like a potential fleet to have enough willing PVPers to at least group with and practice regularly. I also enjoy a bit of 'roleplay' atmosphere now and then; If your fleet has an RP component that would be willing to accept a commandeered ship crewed by a motley group of Ferasans into their midst, I'd love to write stories with you. I do not care much for STFs, unfortunately. I may participate with fleetmates from time to time, but I will not be actively working on Omega Rep.
Fleet holding levels are not a priority for me in finding a new home. I'm not just looking to milk off the hard work of others who may have already established an advanced fleet; However, I can promise that I will pull my own weight in terms of fleet progression. In addition to a portion of my daily dil income, I typically set aside $25 to 40 dollars of my monthly entertainment budget specifically for dilithium contributions.

You might want to check out The House of Kular which operates two Klingon fleets in game and is part of UFP.
You shouldn't have any issues finding people to play with, UFP consists of over 800 members from more than 40 different countries so you shouldn't find it hard to find people to game with. Whilst members are of course free to manage their own in-game activity there are regular hosted events which include PvP. There is also a specific group specifically set up for PvPers.
In terms of roleplay our entire community is aimed at being as authentic as possible, this doesn't mean everything is roleplayed but we do support roleplaying in STO as well as in SIMMs and via RPG-X (which all members get for free).
