Account Bound Items

As most of us should know by know lobi is know account bound instead of character bound. I think this is a very nice first step for Cryptic in making significant qol changes. There are a few other things that are currently character bound that I would like to see become account bound.

Diilithium Claims
Consoles
pvp = small package

    Dilithium claims are a maybe.
    What kind of consoles were you thinking? There ones from zen ships that all characters can get (excluding faction) or "lockbox" consoles that are bind when used. Neither of those would change

    The thing with dilithium claims is if you have 20 characters they dont want you to suddenly open one on each and have 100'000 dilithium in one go.

    they might take away the actually time restrictions so you could open more than one at a time, as you would still have the 8k cap to keep it down.

    I dont see a big problem with consoles.

    I'd actually take that a step further and say that it's not that they don't want you to get 100,000 dilithium instantly, it's that they don't want people who are professional resource farmers to get 100,000 dilithium (i.e. 830 or so zen) instantly, that they'll turn into EC with lockbox keys and then sell on gold farming websites.

    But I agree, I don't think we'll ever see the dilithium claims become account bound. It would be nice if they dropped the increment a bit though, even if its just to something like 4 hours (in line with the contraband assignment) so its still more or less a "once per session" reward.

    What I meant by consoles were just normal consoles like eng/sci/tac not universals/rep/lobi ones. How it is right now is that I can get a normal energy weapon type weapon (meaning not a hybrid or something out of a box) and equip it and it is bound to account, but when I do the same with a normal console, it is now bound to character.

    I can see your various points with regards to the dilithium mining claims. That makes sense to me.
