Nebula mission pods ( pointless idea thread)

totaly pointless idea that will never happen but wanted to post anyway cause im bored and this is what i do when im bored i just make pointless threads.

STO should introduce full function mission pods for the nebula for various different functions and bonuses

Torpedo pod - rapid fire interchangeable torpedo launcher, slap in the torpedo you want and the refire is drastically reduced

Shield pod - increases inherent shield HP by 25% and gives an ability to transfer shield strength to any nearby friendly ships for a good minute or so before going on a 2 - 3 minute cooldown with the effect strengthend by shield based skills.

Sensor Pod - gives increased accuracy to all friendly ships within a 10km range and gives a moderate stealth detection and sensor bonus to effected ships

Power Pod - gives a large increase to ships own power settings or switch modes to give a moderate power boost to all systems to friendly ships within 10km

ill come up with some more when i get back from the pub :-P

    This is not the first time that pods have came up. I personally like the idea of podded ships. if you want to look at some ideas others have had look at my sig.

    I would like to see more pod customization as well. From the standard one seen on the Sutherland to the AWACS pod on the Phoenix to a single extra nacelle. I do agree that choosing one particular pod or another could give either a boost to auxiliary, shields, weapons, or engines (in the case of the extra nacelle).

    I can agree with this. The Nebula needs more versatility. Adding to Engineering or Science capabilities, or even adding to it's tactical, maybe offer a special weapon that comes innate with the tac pod. That would be cool. Maybe something that combines THY along with TS.

    Warp pods, for increased Sector Space speed and turn, as well as increases to engine power and base speed/turn.
