PvP flagging, Open Raid Areas

Interesting idea, give us an option to flag ourselves for open PvP, but not just getting random attacks in sector space, but rather that those players who choose to flag themselves that they are send to special instances of ESD, DS9, K7, Qo'noS or other social hubs that players from the opposite faction can get special group raiding missions and can attack those hubs with a particular goal (target) and every player in the zone has to stop them. Maybe something like a Red Alert, how they exist now that they randomly pop up or the mission just drops sometimes and players can pick it up, organize a group, share the mission and attack. The key here is player choice, don't force PvP on people that don't want to, but offer something new for people that are open to it (choose to enable this option).

-Optional OpenPvP flag for people to toggle.
-Raids on "special" instances of enemy factions social hub that are only for flagged players.
-Either a special mission, red alert or queue-able event.
-Rewards Dili, EC and choice of marks based on performance/meeting objective.

I miss the days when KDF could exploit themselves into ESD space and the battles that would follow, heck even the closing of the Open BETA Borg invasion. This game needs something to spice it up. And I want a real raid/dragon to kill.

I actually wouldn't mind something like this. Push it further and have some sectors change hands depending on the outcomes of battles with the faction that gets defeated getting a defensive and offensive bonus the next time a sector is up for grabs. Make it stack so no one faction can really control it all or not for long.

Could start with eta eridini and make it an unsafe zone and mark it as such when players try to access it. Anyone in there is fair game but each side gets a buff to resists and damage based on the difference of numbers.

It is through repetition that we learn our weakness.
A master with a stone is better than a novice with a sword.

Has damage got out of control?
This is the last thing I will post.

    Signed... I would love this...

Doesn't impact those not interested in PvP... Rather than Social Hubs... I'd be willing to defend my base (ground/space), or attack an enemies base (obviously, this would be for flagged teams)

I support this. I wouldn't mind seeing all maps having PvP instances available.
