Welcome Star Trek Online Captains!!!
A few months ago, the producers of STO's very own Priority One Podcast made the collective decision to embark upon a new project: The Priority One Fleet.
Since then we have had outstanding support from not just our own fleet members, but also from various prominent community members as well.
Having said that, our early mandate was to slowly grow our member base as we continued to develop the tools in order to be successful in-game.
The good news....PRIORITY ONE FLEET is looking for new members!
We would like to stress that ALL fleets in Star Trek Online often have wonderful things to offer to STO players. Choosing the right fleet can sometimes be a daunting task. As of today, we at Priority One Fleet are opening our shuttle bay doors for new recruits.
Whether you are a new or an experienced player, we believe that Priority One Fleet could be the fleet you've been searching for.
Here's what The Priority One Fleet can offer you:
1.) Like most fleets, we offer a very friendly and mature community
2.) Low-pressure gaming....at P1 fleet, there are no activity requirements no weekly dues, etc.
3.) Monthly Fleet Events which are promoted and highlited by the Priority One Podcast show
4.) Regular (daily) in-game schedule of activities (PvP, STF's, Fleet events etc.)
5.) Private in-game training courses with some of the STO community leaders
6.) A fun place to hang out and meet new friends.
If this sounds like an endeavor which interests you, please feel free to stop by our FORUMS, register and introduce yourself.
Upon registration, you?ll easily be able to find us in-game for an official STO invite to our fleet.

Good day captains!
We have a few news updates direct from the halls of Priority One Fleet's Starbase.
First, Elijah, Tony, James and the fantastic production team will be putting together yet another FREE Star Trek Online Podcast this evening.

The podcast is not only extremely entertaining, but also a great tool to learn new things about the game, find out what the devs may be planning in the not-so-distant future, and even maybe discover a new foundry mission to keep your captain occupied.
Priority One Fleet "Special Monthly Event"
Next in Priority One news, this sunday, October 6th at 8:00 pm EST, 5:00 pst, the Priority One Fleet will be running our "Special Monthly Event".
For this month's special event, we'll be running the Crystalline Catastrophe PvE mission. In addition, we'll sure here a recap of this event in the subsequent Priority One Podcast episode after the mission....and in addition, we will also be running the event LIVE on twitch TV for all to see. Just hop over to the twitch.tv website and join the PRIORITY ONE CHANNEL (no registration necessary) to see how we roll.
This is an ideal time for all captains who may be looking for a fleet to effectively evaluate our fleet activites in-game.

It's been another great week for the Priority One Fleet in Star Trek Online.

Priority One Fleet Recruiting!
As many of you know already, the Priority One Fleet is currently recruiting.
Priority One Fleet is the Official Fleet of Star Trek Online's very own...Priority One Podcast.
We are currently accepting all player types regardless of class, level or experience. Whether you're an avid listener of the show or a brand new player to the game, our shuttle-bay doors are open and we are ready to give you an admiral's welcome. (Red Carpet included)
We have a regular list of calendar fleet events as well as a "Special Monthly Event" which is usually highlited on air by Elijah, Tony, and James during the Priority One Podcast.
To join, simply stop by and register at our FORUMS and post your intro. We're a friendly bunch, and all are welcome.

Last night capped another remarkable Priority One Podcast. Our latest and greatest podcast covered various topics including the latest dev blog, the new Avenger Class ship available on the C-store as well as some cool stuff on the Dyson Sphere.

October Special Monthly event is in the books!
First, imagine the "boat scene" from Star Trek: Generations. Elijah, (in the place of Capt. Picard) received some disturbing personal news. As we embark upon our journey, our XO tells the first officer "Just take care of it number one!!"
** Edit** OK that part was entirely fictional. However, Elijah was unable to join us due to events which shall not be named in this recap. We wish the best to Elijah and his family and we're keeping his seat at the head of the conference table warm.
So....as we began the evening, the Priority One Fleet received an emergency broadcast hail:
"::Attention Priority One Fleet Members:: Condition Red:: Sensors have discovered that the Crystalline Entity is entering Federation Space. All available Priority One Fleet Members are to report to the P1 Starbase for debriefing. :: "
The available captains assembled with haste, but unfortunately, we knew that we didn't have enough firepower to take on the entity by ourselves. To complicate the matter, we received an emergency distress call from the Azure Nebula. So first things first, we took our skeleton crew to the Azure Nebula in order to free some of our Romulan allies from the clutches of the Tholian Assembly!
After successfully defeating the Tholians from what appeared to be their primary objective, we returned to the Priority One Fleet Starbase Ready Room to continue preparations for the impending Crystalline incursion.
With barely minutes having passed during "strategic debriefing alpha-theta-foxtrot-2", our Romulan allies contacted mission control for yet another emergency situation. Apparently, the Tholian activity we thwarted in the Azure Nebula was simply a distraction for the true target. The top secret Romulan research facility, also known to few as "The Vault" was under attack by a Tholian Armada. We quickly tapped our commbadges and set our small fleet into action...
Upon arrival at the Vault, we quickly took up strategic positions and laid the beat down on some alien arachnids!!!
After what the Klingons might deem " a glorious victory!", we returned to the P1 starbase ready room for the final debriefing on the Crystalline Entity. The entity was drawing closer and we knew we had to act immediately. Fortunately we were joined by our fearless leader, Ka'tana@macLeod as well as yet another P1 fleet member, Angelina@Captpando. We were confident that these additions might just be what we needed to turn the odds in our favor. Since we knew this mission was of the "Elite", we knew that we needed our heavy hitters.
We then assembled within striking range of the entity....The battle was about to begin!!!!
ATTTTTAAAAACKKK!!!!!!!
Upon engaging the Crystalline Entity, it appeared that our recent nemesis, the Tholians, were looking to take advantage of our distributed forces. Nevertheless, we persevered! And with the brute force of Starfleet's latests technological advances, the Priority One Fleet was victorious!
The evening was complete. We returned to Starbase, opened up a very special bottle of Chateau Picard (2267), and signaled to our Starbase DJ to "hit the lights". The Priority One Fleet once again successfully defended the borders of the federation and everyone lived to tell the story!

It goes without saying that there are a lot of awesome fleets in Star Trek Online. I've had the extreme pleasure of being a member of a couple of them over the last four years, some of which are sadly no longer with us. With all of these great choices it can be pretty intimidating to find something that fits your style. So what's a player to do?
Some time ago STO's premier podcast, Priority One, decided to embark upon a new venture -- the Priority One Fleet. As a member I'd like to invite you to come check us out whether you're a new player, a returning player, or a war hardened veteran of the last four years. We're building a friendly, inclusive fleet headed by Fleet Admiral RobRay and backed by prominent community members such as Elijah, Elliot, Tony, James, and two time Emmy award winning audio guru Skiffy!
The Priority One Fleet is a no-pressure gaming community working on a slew of in-game activities and monthly events.
