Human Leadership Trait

Someone told me that the Human Leadership trait is still bugged? I thought they had fixed it. I suppose if it is bugged then the next best for FED's is the Efficient Trait?

Anyone tested it?:)

Its not bugged, but its only really effective outside of combat. It now stacks with Character Leadership trait.

Used to massively boost your in-combat repair rate. Then they broke it so it didn't stack at all, and your captain had to have the trait before your bridge officer's traits applied.

When they fixed it so you don't have to have the trait to use it on your BOFFs, and also made it stack (again), they gave it such a huge nerf that it's no longer worth using. Even if you put it on every bridge officer you have, plus your captain, the effect is negligible.

I know a lot of peeps have a hate on for escorts, but how does the leadership boff trait being near worthless have anything to do with it?

Can't stack healing very well with a useless trait.

    Jellico....Engineer ground.....Da'val Romulan space Sci
Saphire.. Science ground......Ko'el Romulan space Tac

I use it for the boost to subsystem repair bonus. Everything else is moot.

So much this. Hawt ladies giving me almost total resistance to phasers and VM, thus invalidating an entire tree of Sci skills and the trademark weapons of an entire faction? All while being unstoppable to space dark elves and spiders? Priceless.

I even run them on the away team because of the Teamwork +Exploit damage making my Lunge and Sniper rifle hit harder. I also use an all-Tac team so Sweeping and Lunge come standard, and they can Lunge their own Exploits for more damage.

I LOVE humans. Especially when you get cuddles.

And even if you are specced 9/9 in Subsystem Repair, the skill still does about nothing at all. Utterly not worth spending any points in. Leadership is simply a joke.

System shutdown from VM lasts 1-2seconds, subsystem disable from Tholians last about 1-2 seconds and phaser system down lasts 1 second with the +100 SSR I get from 5 humans.

I know this because that's what I'm seeing, my subsystems winking off, then coming back on immediately when attacked by Tal Shiar or Tholians, whereas pre-buff they'd be knocked out for 5-8 seconds.

They need to un-nerf the leadership trait now since romulan boffs crit stacking is like godly compared to leadership stacking.

Change the bonus to a direct +20 Starship Hull Repair, make passive hull regen scale off SHR, allow Armor skills to reduce critical chance and critical security, and make crew member regen scale off all the starship repair-type skills and aux power.

Are we sure the trait is broken? Historically I've always added at least one boff for these purposes. I guess I'm a little shocked at wasting a boff slot on those traits without stumbling across any meaningful drops of info about it prior to this thread.
May good management be with you.

The history of the trait is like this:

    1. It was broken for a long time.
    2. They fixed it, but the hull repair bonus was too strong. People were getting out-of-combat hull repair rates during combat.
    3. They nerfed the hull repair bonus. The mechanics of the bonus have been altered. But the nerf also broke the trait again: the hull repair bonus didn't stack, and the subsystem repair bonus was missing.
    4. They fixed the trait again. The hull repair bonus now stacks, and the subsystem repair bonus works.

Ok so it's not broken then. I always kept 1 human on board to help lick my wounds if needed.

So is 4. Correct.. Is it worth being Human captain with all human crew???

Is this the current case for Leadership? I don't want roll human captain and make human crew if no benefit (however small) from stacking hull repair skill

Any value to having a human bridge officer if your player captain is non-human? or Officers since they stack?
