    Frank Ocasio
    Yours sincerely,

    P.S.

Losing someone is never easy especially at such a young age. I am really sorry for your loss. At times like these you have to lean on your faith and try to accept that God has a bigger purpose for us. May all the love that surrounds you give you strength.

So sorry to hear this. I never got to talk with him in game he seemed like a cool person. And his foundry mission was a masterpiece. I never knew he did the ftp trailer, that was pretty awesome too.

Times like this make me pause to think and remember, that we should all treasure each moment we have with friends and family cause life is uncertain and we never know what tomorrow will bring.

    Sincere condolences to Mark's Family.

He also has a featured spotlight mission in-game, "The Rising Phoenix - Part One", which was put up earlier this year.

You guys should canonize his mission by making it an official in game mission with a special reward. Maybe a Doff with last name Valentine.

One thing all games like this should have is a place to add names of those who are no longer with us. My condolences to Cryptic.

May his eternal soul find rest among the stars and may his family find the strength to continue without him no matter how hard it is Keep the good memories of him then he will live as long as you keep those memories alive!

Hey Branflakes, I would like to be so bold as to suggest perhaps a Valentine class ship in his honor or at the very least renaming one of the npc ships in game U.S.S. Valentine.

Just a thought. but it might make for a fitting tribute. (if cbs ok's it)

Smooth sails and calm seas for you on the journey you now take. Say hi to Gene for us. You will be missed. :salute:

Now lets see a plaque in game for him. It's the least that can be done.

I shall commission the next ship in my fleet of ships to be in his name, and he is a honorary bridge officer of my ship

    +1

other mmorpgs have such memorials and they remain a touching part even years after the release of those games and when people come across them do research to each of them to find why are there in-game with not a visible purpose i talk of personal experience it rly is a matter of a greatest honor and respect to those witch pass away

I second that motion, naming a ship class after him is the ultimate honor in trek.
The f2p trailer got me into this game, he'll be sadly missed

I fully agree with this. As a Lifetime member, it has be a honor to be part of the STO family. The next ship I get will be named after him. I second the motion of a Valentine class starship or at least a USS Valentine.
Anyone in this post that agrees with this please let your voice be heard and we can prevail in this matter of remembering a wonderful and amazing person

      Wow, I'm beyond shocked...

I came into the site today to see if anything new was going on, and I find out that Mr. Valentine had passed. I am truly speechless, all I can say is, that I'll miss you, it was an honor to be part of a universe that you put your heart and soul into, and as all things must come to pass, there will always be a void where you once were.

      Rest in Peace.

It saddens me greatly to see such a great man go. While the art of this game was not entirely his, he still did much. And from him came a game whose visual brilliance has always been a defining feature. As well, the game's trailers and cutscenes have been brilliant, stunning, and thrilling. It is misery to know that this man is gone. I regret not knowing him, but I will miss him nonetheless. May he rest in peace, and may his soul fly amongst the stars.

It's a shame he is gone so soon. I loved that mission and that trailer is the inspiration for me in an RP I am doing somewhere else.

"Second star to the right. Straight on till morning..." Happy trails dude. Someone needs to seriously pick up where he left off on that mission series.
