A cut & paste of one of my replies from another thread in this subforum.

The D'Deridex is very much capable of doing a hit & run attack, despite its slow movement and turn rate.
For PVP, it is one of the few ships that can hit you with Emergency Power to Weapons 3, Tractor Beam 2, Viral Matrix 1, Attack Pattern Omega 1, Beam Overload 2 (or BO2 + BO1 for those that know how to do this), and a Jem Sensors 1 + Evasive Maneuvers + Recloak if it doesn't work
The D'Deridex at T5, due to it's wonky "Jack of all trades, master of none" BOFF arrangement allows it to swing at you with a wide variety of skills. It doesn't hit the same like the obvious damage oriented ships like the ha'feh, dhelan. It hits you with a wide variety of things that all are pretty strong. TAC, ENG, and SCI, all at the same time. The ENG BOFF station in particular, like certain Cruisers with good TAC stations, allows for some serious buffing of weapons power and weapons damage output.
