It shouldn't matter if you go Fed or Klingon with your Romulan. I should still be able to team up with other Romulans no matter the other users allegiance.
Can you all make this happen. I have had a ton of people quit playing cause of that. Rom and Roms should be able to team up.
Now teaming up with a specific allegiance you should be only able to Team up that faction as it is already.
Anyone their? Perfect World won't let you guys answer anything?
I have seen a lot of people quit Star Trek Online cause of little changes like this and of course the poor Customer Service.
It took Customer Service a week to get back to me about my free C points I get as a gold subscriber. They said the system said I got it every month I was subscribed. No not the case.
Guess as a paid customer I will go free to play and no longer spend a dime like everyone else.
This is something that needs to be fixed ASAP, it straight up sucks. If your Romulan you should be able to team with other Romulan players regardless of your ally.

I've been saying that since before LOR launched.
THis would have been a great chance to use ROmulans as a "Party Bridge" too. Allowing Fed and KDF players to team as long as there were a R-Fed and R-KDF in the party too.
everybody should be able to team with everybody. the PVP being the only exception.
also, i want more Romulan Interiors & Bridges.
and KDF uniforms.
Considering that KDF and Fed are teamed up in STFs and certain fleet actions, there is no good reason why not. For PvP, the Romulans could even be tagged with the side that has fewer players. As for an explination as to why, During the Dominion War the Federation was the glue that held the Alpha Quadrent Alliance together(Federation, Klingons, Romulans and other supporters). Could it not stand to reason that the Omega Faction was suggested by a Romulan Republic Officer. In that, they Romulan Republic would be the glue that holds together the Omega Force alliance against the Borg, Breen, Tholians, and other external and existential threats.
Yeah, this is just one more example of the half-arsed approach to releasing the Romulan faction Cryptic took.
I'm fine with the basic idea of the alliance system, because it fits the story and developments (although I do believe there were better ways to go about it). However it is things like these that really make you realize just how lazy the approach of bringing the Romulans was.
We can't team up with each other, even though we're suposed to belong with the same faction. And initially we were told that we'd be able to team up with each other at least for episode missions. Yeah, that worked out fine.
Then I've had random starfleet Boffs pop-up on my ship even though I have no Fed. Boffs.
And everyone is calling me Starfleet. Even Romulans on Mol'Rihan, you know that new homeworld I discovered are calling me Starfleet. Don't get me started about the exploration system.
The Doffing also makes little to no sense, especially for KDF aligned Romulans. And I can't get Romulan Doffs via commendation.
Purple Boffs? Yeah, if you're lucky to get the random mission once in a blue moon. Or get the embassy ones that will then wear RSE/Tal'shiar uniforms and are uncustomizable, so you're left with spies on your bridge.
There are probably a dozen more things, but I'll stop before turning this into a really long rant.
And they did such a god job at the start. The storyline gets you realy involved and connected with your Romulan char. and after you finish the Romulan story content, you're just trown out and left to feel like you're not a Romulan, but your ally's servant. I don't know the reasons for this half-arsed implementation of the Romulan faction, but it just screams lazy to me. It's like they started out fine, but then couldn't finish it time and just shoehorned it in this manner.
OP, I'd love to encourage you that this will be resolved, but I'm at a point at which I'm not certain this will happen myself. Reading "dStahl talks Voyager" and realizing that discussing and considering a new faction consumes many development hours at Cryptic, while there are so many troubling issues regarding the Romulan faction clearly shows where their priorities are.

I mean when I want to team with a fellow friend whom is romulan for STF's. Apparently, if they pick fed and your Klingon affiliated you can't team up.
I understand as far as team up with a fed or klingon. I should no matter what be able to team with with any Romulan as a romulan.
