You know I can never find this "Children's Toys".. so I have no idea how to complete this.

STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Are you the right level? Wiki says you need to be 40+. If so just make sure you hit Cardassian space every 4 hours and it'll eventually pop up. Just make sure you have the inputs when you do see it.

Going back to the OP, another good way to make money is selling data samples and particle traces on the exchange. Rare and very rare data samples go for considerable amounts.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I get a nice steady income of EC from DOFF packs buy em split em post em forget about em CHA CHING ! One pack should easily get you your original outlay for that pack back no problem the worst case scenario doing DOFF packs is breaking even ! There is always profit to be had with DOFF's. Doing a few patrol missions with advanced difficulty will fill your inventory very quickly and all this mounts up.

If your looking to make insta cash, unless your lucky with lock boxes it isnt going to happen it takes a little effort and time but is doable over a period of a few weeks and it gets you 'shock horror' playing the game

you can always roll out a ferengi character. Name him as Liar Lucifier etc, and start ripping off other people by fake promises etc.
This will be very close to what happens in real life, and you will have your ECs in no time :P

It's viable, same as minefield. Not something I like doing because of the randomness of it, but it works.

They already have. They placed a cap on the amount of loot available per day from the foundry. They might lower it, but I doubt it. You earn roughly the same amount from doing a Tau Dewa Sector Patrol. It's only like 300-500k EC and it's per-account not per-character. That's hardly anything really!

It's per character, I run it daily on about ten alts. Get anything between 5 and 7 million EC total. And yes, I'm aware it probably won't be forever. ;)

I re-started the EC grind at the end of last week... would buy the 8 lock box trait for all my 15 character... because the expensiver traits, its about 50 million per character :) I still have about 1,5 billion ec, but wont spend the half of it to the traits, so i grinding and spend just what i earned.

Starting with doff assigments, including the dilithium mine doff assigments, with crit that gives you 100k ec.
Not a big ammount but more than nothing. Other doff assigments mostly for contraband and dilithium, some other items like negotiate additional delivery (and i was able to find the children's toy at the first day i started to search, so you also should able)

Foundry farming also not bad, 200-500k ec per character.
Gorn minefield and starbase 24 also good, need to everything, than 1st or 2nd place with tac's, sometimes also with engineer beam crusier, bfaw, warp plasma, agro everything, dont die.

You can make private starbase24 at alone, longer to finish it, and because you just can set up level 50 enemies, you will just rewarded with 2pc mk 10 very rare item, but you will be the first as you are the only on the map (dont forget the password or sometimes pugs will join) and you will get every loot = unlimited loot farm.

but the best will be always the exchange, just buy the overpriced items and sell them, me just working with mk 11 and 12 purple weapons, and ignoring everything under 100.000 ec profit.

Selling doff's also good, 500 fc / white doff, if you was unlucky and get civilian (about 25% chance) you just can sell it for 20-25k ec, if you was lucky and other you can earn 40-50k, idk the price, just tipp... i working with purple doffs... too much fc, would be too much white doff, too much wasted time with putting them to exchange.

Selling fleet mark's also good way, i have 30.000+ and i selling them cheap, 3000 ec / mark, every day i sell some thousand... but i m leader on my fleet, can leave and donating to other fleet than go back easy as i can invite and promote myself with my other toon, its maybe would problem to a simple fleet member. (Don't say that i should use them at my own fleet, i m on a big fleet and first on leaderboards, donated over 5 million dilithium plus lot of other)

All over mentioned ways are nothing, some months ago was very easy to make 200 million per day with 2-3 hour / day, maybe its come back once, i waiting for it, and sorry, i cant tell how, if its really come back once, i wont more concurrency :)

If you have more dil than sense you could buy unreplacatable materials and sell them on the exchange. Or use them to make the Aegis set pieces, and sell those.

Might also try the doff grinder, to guarantee a certain quality of doff, quick (but expensive, especially purples). You could also get the doff pack and sell the commons you get out of it.

I think those are the only ways to directly turn dil into ec. You can also use dil to get zen to get keys and fleet ship things to sell, but that's a few extra steps.
