I get the reputation system; its a garbage dispossal, keeps us all grinding away.
I do not like it. I get it though.
Anywho, I have crafted MK X maco, unlocked Tier three and crafted MK XI maco...
So, uhm...
where is the unlock? is that separate task?
None of the tailors show me any options for Maco nor Omega gear.
Seeing as how I had a full set of XII, XI, and X Maco, omega, and Borg before I quit for a while; I am somewhat underwhelmed by this current system.
In case you all missed it My question is:
"I have unlock Tier 3 Maco/Omega STF reputation, crafted full sets of Maco X and XI, how do I get the costume unlock?"

There is no costume for Maco Mk X it looks just like regular armour. Only the weapon is different. The Mk XI costume for Maco/Omega is an unlockable project that you have to run via the rep system. The Mk XII Maco/Omega has the most costume options but that also requires a costume unlock project.
When you've run the project go to the outfit options Maco/Omega should appear in the list of formal/off duty/uniform outfits.

To unlock the costume project, I believe you have to create a full set of the armor and all at the same level (and only level XII i believe).
So having a tier 1 shield (MK x) and tier 5 armor (MK XII) for example would not be sufficient. You have to make all 3 MK XII parts, then do the costume project that opens up.
From what I've understood from your post, I don't think you've gone this far.
