TRIBBLE Maintenance and Release Notes - August 23, 2013

We will be bringing down the Tribble server for maintenance to apply a new update: ST.31.20130803a.15

General
  • Updates have been made to the The Elachi Crescent Hand Cannon.
    • It can no longer be fired while in stealth.
    • It can no longer be fired under the effects of Weapon Malfunction.
    • The secondary fire now properly reflects its 4 second charge.
  • The Firearms Specialist Trait now works more reliably with long-charge weapons.

    These arent much points today, are there coming more in the next days?
    And are there foundry updates coming shortly?

    It's better not to expect much so you can be delightfully surprised if something actually gets done that needs to be done :D

    I know these are only aesthetic bugs, but they really take away from usability and good form of the DOFF window/system:
    • Scrolling to bottom of roster create some kind of flicker.
    • Scroll down some and then back up, the "collapse all" button is gone.
    • Can the Department Heads please stay seated as slotted. It seems to be influenced by the away team last taken our or when changing ship.

    When the pvp update is comming, with time, i see many player stoping to play, i mean from seaon 5 the quality of the game is going down cause of the player who stoped to play and i see many new player complain how about the other are powerful so they play a acouple of time and stop pvp. You can see how its devastating, Exemple: we are one week after the elachi box have come and now i see like 10 persone a day win a ship and like 3 month ago it was like 100 persone a day ...

    now the pvp queu take more then 20 min for get a game.. It need a serious update Exemple:
    -new map .. after 3 year that will be nice, Seriously !
    -one queu per map like PVE,( so the peaple who make team of 5 can have a chance to fight all team in the queu ..)
    so that remove the recisme the sustem actuel is causing...

    i have to say, i play much on the klingon faction, we wait a long time in the queu befor get a game and when we got that game we have waited for long, we fight new player and they complain and we dont have chalange its getting boring,i mean the good fed player with experience dont queu vs the klingon and when i go in fed side play some game, im upset to see how its more fun , we can find chalange here,

    Honestly a new map isn't going to help PVP. The problem with the wait time is probably an issue of not enough klingon players. The power creep is the biggest obstacle to PVP and that is going to hard to fix with fleets and reputation.

    I have yet to see the Firearms Specialist trait affect the secondary of the lobi Elachi Crescent Hand Cannon. Is this WIA?

    If it is, is the potential occasional reduction of a RIDICULOUS 20 second cooldown to a 10-second cooldown (consistent with Blast Assaults) really a game breaker?

        Of course it's fixed after it was released purposely broken to sell enough of them! But yeah good fix. Doesn't matter to me much since I quit ground pvp 2 months ago but again nice fix!

    I also appears that the tr 115 gun....can also fire while cloaked. It isn't widely used but it is annoying.

    GREAT bug fixes good to see the long term problems finnaly solved.

    and wow what a list of bug fixes its almost everything i can thinkof fixed.


    good job cryptic.

    now that the game is bug free i guess u guys are starting on the next season

    I second this. It was in the patch notes but whoever was setting it set it to Medium PoweR Cells, NOT Large Power Cells.
