Question about jump height

Hi,

I've got a question about something I encountered. On ESD, in the section with the tailor, there are 4 boxes next to the holo-image of the Andorian. I used to think that only Caitians could reach the top of it.

The same goes for the Bank-Exchange section: there is a gap at the back of the exchange where you can jump to the bank section.

I've seen various characters of other species (alien, Romulan) reach both these locations. Has this always been possible for non-Caitians, or has there been a recent change in the jump height of other species?

I unlocked the Caitians because I wanted to be able to reach those special places.. now it seems anyone can get there.

The four boxes can be reached by jumping onto the wall. Yeah, you heard that right. There's a little decorative "line" in the wall that you can actually jump onto, and use that as a ledge to get onto the higher crates.

The wall between the Bank and exchange is a bit trickier, but it's the same concept: using decoration as a ledge.

If you like jump mazes just to do them then go to Nimbus III and check your accolades, theres an accolade for the jump maze that is the town. It's quite fun to try to figure out each one.

The crates in the rack the NPC is raging at in the shop area looks like you can get ontop of it. Not sure if its possible because running up the window sill you will be knocked off before you can get close enough to make the jump, Does anyone know if that stack of crates is possible to get onto?
