im trying to justify the expense of purchasing fleet ground gear for my chars... but i cant.
i did a trial run and got a set for one of my chars and compared it to xii KHG set.
the elite armor bonus.. has a 3 minute CD.. which makes it pretty much useless.
the elite shield bonus is the same adapt thing that is on ship shields..
it says it stacks 10 times. but in my testing your shields are down to 0 before it does even once.. kinda useless.
compare to KHG, you lose the warrior thing.. plus the instant heal that has only a 45 sec cd.
plus the instant remod.. which is needed more then anything else fighting borg..
ontop of that. the KHG suit has more resists then the elite fleet armor.
i think elite fleet gear needs to be bumped up a tad.. and there needs to be a fleet remod unit that has like a 2 sec recharge.

Yes I highly agree, the fleet ground gear is sub-par to the reputation gear in versatility making it more of a vanity purchase instead of truly useful.
