Quality product again!
I call it, the Stoutes paradox.
I would have thought that the Foundry and RPers would be a great match. They get to play "actual" Star Trek missions or even make their own. I know we had catstarsto reviewing missions for a while but unfortunately he's stopped. Maybe there should be some sort of outreach to that community and see how we can benefit from one another.

And with the news about the long previews bug being solved on the Neverwinter side, that's good news, providing it reaches the STO Foundry side in quick succession.
But I'm really disappointed in the Foundry Team (not them as individuals, but as a whole), because how many times since the Foundry's launch that we had to wait for months on end just for a problem to be solved? As neglected as PvP is, if they had a similar bug, it would've been fixed within a week.
With PWE and Cryptic hyping up the UGC, it's starting to feel like I'm reading a cartoon strip of a Ferengi trying to sell a junker and saying its quality. Just wish they could take better care, else it's just a black mark if people join STO just for the UGC content and learn it's busted.
On assets vs costumes, I think costumes should be considered as an asset to add. Not an either/or. I'm tempted to say costumes over assets, but depends what assets we're getting! A handful new off duty costumes vs all the new Romulan sets and assets isn't really a hard choice!
You know what, I might be up for RPing if I saw some around... and if I was organised... and could take myself seriously. I'm not much of an actor, I just end up giggling at people trying to be serious-hero-types and more so at myself!
We're still missing plenty of both, at least as far as LoR is concerned. We still don't have any proper Romulan Republic uniforms available in the costume editor, or Imperial/Tal Shiar ones for that matter. We don't even have generic Republic costumes for mob reskinning purposes, either.
As for assets, I don't think you ever mentioned maps. We need at least three new maps for New Romulus: A space map for the system, a ground map of the surface, and an interior map of the Republic command center. We also need several maps for Nimbus III: The space map, the ground map (preferably one for the entire playable area of the surface, including Paradise City), and interior maps for Shangdu (Hassan's club) and Installation 18.
Last but not least, we could use some scorpion/arthropod mobs (as seen on Nimbus III) too.
Re: TOS Season 1
"A Taste of Armageddon" has long been my favorite episode from all of TOS, not just Season 1, though it's hard to go wrong with any of the choices you guys nominated. And even the worst Season 1 eps aren't anywhere near "Spock's Brain" territory.
