Hey all. I picked up my Advanced Research Retrofit on Friday and been tinkering with it and now trying to balance out the power levels to get the most bang for my buck. I am a VA Human Engineer.
Here is the basics of what I got running.
I am running the full Aegis Set and a Mark XI Overcharged Warp Core [SEP] [E->S] [SSS] I am running now power consoles and only have a pair of Shield Emitter Amplifiers and Emitter Arrays for Science consoles.
I wrote down the Power Levels for each of the four settings and then one custom setting. Format is Weapon/Shield/Engine/Auxiliary
Balanced (50/50/50/50):
67/78/69/84
Attack (100/50/25/25):
113/76/48/66
Defense (50/100/25/25):
67/122/48/66
Speed (25/25/100/50):
46/61/114/84
Custom (70/45/50/45):
83/70/69/81
What I want help with is balancing this out so I can have good DPS while not affecting my Engines (Aegis Hyper-Impulse) while having decent staying power. Anyone want to shed light on this?
Maybe swap out your overcharged warp core for a Field Stabilizing core with an [A->S] modifier and set your shield power down to the minimum. It should come out around the same on balance and give you more power to send to Aux and Engines.

Some interesting insights in the above thread.
I am watching that thread. This is to help figure out my power levels so that I can get the best bang out of it.
